Launched in 2020, Yoyo has remained largely unused and in storage since. However she has now been sailed from the Aegean to Catalonia where she is available for viewing at Barcelona. She is currently out of the water being Coppercoated and having her hull paintwork freshened up.
Yoyo as per plans aside from being fitted with twin 12hp diesel engines in place of the usual 9.9hp outboard motors. These are fitted in boxes that pivot as the connected prop shafts are raised and lowered by tackles from the cockpit. Each engine is fed from an adjacent 60 litre plastic fuel tank with a further space provided to carry and extra 80 litres in jerrycans. With her easily driven hulls, fuel efficient engines and ample tank capacity she has an approximate range of 400M, giving her a distinct advantage for summer cruising in the Med or transiting the Canal du Midi etc
