Stingray Cuddy/Cruiser 195 CS/CX
The new 195CS and 195CX cuddy cabins ride on our next-generation Z-Plane hull, which has an extended running surface that delivers even better performance and handling than its predecessor. Like previous models, the hull design also includes a notched transom to enhance performance.
Seating configurations is the primary difference between the two models. The 195CS features a driver's bucket seat, a back-to-back fold-down passenger lounge, and jump seats that convert to a sundeck. The 195CX comes with a full-width aft bench seat and sundeck, and dual bucket seats.
Each model has a 3-panel cabin door for unsurpassed access and unparalleled ventilation and openness, which is a nice break from the conventional cave-like cuddy design found on other boats. A sturdy stainless steel latch (not plastic) allows the cabin door to be securely locked. Inside you will find a screened aluminum deck hatch for improved ventilation and two port lights that open up the interior. The cabin is also equipped with adjustable electric lights for nighttime use. The comfortable berth will accommodate two adults and a Porta-Potti is standard, making the boats well suited for overnighting. A molded fiberglass liner gives the cabin a fit and finish seldom seen on a boat this size.
The new cuddy cabins feature nicer appointments than the 190C models that they replace. The new models have popup cleats, a recessed bow light, a more stylish dash and a larger swim platform, which combine to create a sleeker, more appealing boat. Other noteworthy standard features include bow anchor storage, in-floor ice chest, and premium foam-backed vinyl upholstery. The helm comes with a full array of backlit instruments, including an engine hour meter, offset by a beautiful woodgrain trim package. It also sports a stylish Italian steering wheel and a 12-volt plug for powering accessories. Securely installed in the passenger console is a Kenwood Hi-Power audio system.
